We are seeking a Manufacturing and Logistics Manager for our ISA office in Portugal.

ISA is the go-to IoT company for the Oil & Gas industry specializing in telemetry and remote monitoring solutions and has been in the market for nearly 30 years with operations in 44 countries and over 30 global partners.

The Manufacturing and Logistics Manager thrives on exceeding customer expectations while ensuring that the organization is highly responsive to customer needs and issues. You aim to continuously improve operations with a strong focus on driving a lean culture to reduce cost and ensure maximum efficiency, quality and on-time delivery. You have thorough knowledge of current technologies in manufacturing, engineering, materials management/inventory control, distribution and logistics, purchasing, quality assurance systems processes and practices. Furthermore, you can read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing ERP systems, safety and technical procedures and governmental regulations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manages product delivery from customer order to warehouse dispatch
  • Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure supplier meeting KPI, including on time delivery, qualify, price
  • Ensure quality control within internal and external manufacturing
  • Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Transition of hardware products and manufacturing processes from prototype to production and through the entire life cycle of the product
  • Manages clear metrics and indicators for hardware production success
  • Contribute to a peer driven continuous process improvement environment
  • Drive operation continuously improvement, running KAIZEN event
  • Work with cross functional team to drive productivity saving and implementation of projects
  • Work with cross function team to drive SIOP
  • Maintain healthy inventory turn and inventory position
  • Write reports, manage business KPIs, and write process documents
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from corporate leaders, managers, clients, and customers

Core Skills & Competencies

  • 3+ years manufacturing/logistic experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or multi-stop transportation environment highly desired.
  • Must have strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong collaborative skills with the proven abilities in leadership/ownership and accountability and a proven ability to drive change.
  • Bilingual and able to read, write and speak English & Portuguese proficiently

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or relevant field.
