ECO-MAXX Partners with ANOVA to Revolutionize Used Oil Collection and Recycling
In a groundbreaking partnership, ECO-MAXX Environmental Services and Anova are leading the charge in transforming used oil recycling through innovative technology. This collaboration is making waves in the environmental sustainability sector by improving the efficiency of used oil collection and supporting clients in achieving key sustainability goals.
ECO-MAXX specializes in the collection and recycling of used petroleum products as well as used oil filter recycling and vac services. Their innovative approach has not only streamlined client operations but has also contributed to significant advancements in used oil management and environmental conservation.
North America generates approximately 1 billion gallons of used oil annually from industries such as new car dealerships, automotive services, commercial fleet operations, and manufacturers. Handling these large volumes of used oil requires a finely tuned process to ensure safe and responsible recycling. For many companies, balancing sustainability objectives with operational efficiency has been a challenge.
Recognizing the complexity of managing just in time collection of used oil, ECO-MAXX sought a comprehensive solution that would address the logistical and environmental challenges of used oil collection. Their partnership with Anova, a global leader in tank monitoring, has introduced state-of-the-art tank monitoring technology to the process, revolutionizing the way ECO-MAXX manages its logistics.
By integrating Anova’s real-time tank monitoring data with their paperless ERP system (Acumatica/Tuxton Inc.), ECO-MAXX has transformed their routing and scheduling logistics, resulting in many operational benefits.
By deploying Anova’s xFluid Tank Monitoring Solution, ECO-MAXX was able to transform its service model for a key account with 44 locations. The technology eliminated annual tank overfills entirely, reduced service frequency by 111 instances (a 7% reduction in truck stops, and increased volume per service by 29%. Additionally, it boosted total collection volume by 57,950 gallons—a 20% increase—resulting in a $12,765 annual savings on collection costs, or $287.50 per shop. With this innovative solution, ECO-MAXX not only achieved greater operational efficiency but also strengthened customer satisfaction and confidence by providing reliable, uninterrupted service.
“We have seen remarkable improvements in our used oil collection services thanks to Anova’s technology,” said Matt Gudorf, President,, and COO of ECO-MAXX. “The efficiency and visibility this solution provides have streamlined our operations, eliminated overflows, and given our clients confidence in our ability to support their sustainability goals.
