Prestigious Annual IoT Breakthrough Awards Program Recognize Standout Internet-of-Things Companies and Products
NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J, January 12, 2023
Anova, the trusted innovator and leader in remote monitoring of industrial assets, today announced that it has been named “IoT Analytics Platform Of The Year” in the 7th annual IoT Breakthrough Awards program conducted by IoT Breakthrough, a leading market intelligence organization that recognizes the top companies, technologies and products in the global Internet-of-Things (IoT) market today.
Anova connects the industrial world by digitizing the supply chains of the manufacturers and distributors of industrial gases, chemicals, LPG, fuels, lubricants, and other products. The company’s cloud-native solutions are used in over 80 countries around the world, providing insight and business intelligence on over one million industrial assets. The company’s 2000+ clients run the gamut from small, regional businesses to the world’s largest industrial gases, chemicals, and LPG manufacturers and distributors.
Anova’s latest innovation extends the reach and benefit of IIoT solutions to unmonitored tanks. Anova advanced forecasting introduces a combination of IIoT and artificial intelligence for more accurate fuel tank-level forecasting. With this software and advanced IIoT capability, it is possible to forecast tank-level on unmonitored tanks more accurately than traditional methods.
Beyond location and weather, Anova applies machine learning to derive intelligence locked up in delivery records across an entire population of tanks. IIoT-monitored tanks and unmonitored tanks, often hundreds of miles apart, are matched based on usage patterns identified through complex machine learning algorithms. The limitations of local weather and information-based forecasting are removed.
Additionally, using IIoT-enabled information, Anova advanced forecasting solutions provide insight into the specific tanks that could be sufficiently served via off-peak delivery dates. By delivering to these tanks during Summer or Fall months, businesses can reduce stress and increase safety while also having the ability to better meet product purchase minimums at lower costs.
“Many millions of tanks globally remain unmonitored. Not every fuel provider can afford to equip every customer’s tank with an IIoT device. Up until now, the level within a tank was either IIoT device-monitored, predicted using tank location and local weather patterns, or drivers would stop unnecessarily at the tank or receive calls from customers whose tanks had already run out,“ said James Johnson, managing director at IoT Breakthrough. “Anova’s deep understanding of the industry and IIoT acumen has enabled it to break through the increasing IoT noise in energy and gas distribution. Their Innovative combination of IIoT and artificial intelligence-based machine learning disrupts traditional methods in industrial asset management. Congratulations for being our choice for ‘IoT Analytics Platform of the Year!’”
The mission of the IoT Breakthrough Awards program is to recognize the innovators, leaders and visionaries from around the globe in a range of IoT categories, including Industrial and Enterprise IoT, Smart City technology, Connected Home and Home Automation, Connected Car, and many more. This year’s program attracted more than 4,000 nominations from companies all over the world.
“It’s an honor to receive the “IoT Analytics Platform of the Year”. This award validates our commitment to serving the industry with leading digital innovations, ensuring hospitals never run out of oxygen, homesteads in frozen territories stay warm throughout the winter, and waterparks have the chlorine needed to keep the lazy river flowing clean and safe – just to name a few applications,” said Matt Toone, CEO, Anova. “Our platform was designed to drive even greater gains in carbon emissions reductions, operational efficiency, business profits, and consumer engagement and loyalty. Our continuous innovation in the application of IIoT, is extending the benefits of digitalization in the industry to make life better for others.”
Over one million Anova IIoT devices monitor fuel and other tanks all around the world, steadfastly reporting tank-levels, and other variables, to the distributors that deliver their contents. Its remote telemetry technology and analytics have empowered its 2000+ customers to achieve new levels of operational insight, efficiency, and end-consumer experience.
